Women In Media Conference and Launch Event for Africa USA Radio: September 2021
The Women In Media Conference event was a to launch Africa USA Radion, and also part of celebrating South African women’s month by spotlighting women who are in media, especially radio, as are our own radio station has number of women presenters on our team. The virtual event had four panelists who have expertise in various areas of the radio industry covering topics will including:
1. Radio Business
2. Branding of Individual Show.
3. Station Representation
4. Content, Gathering Reliable Information

Season 6: Unity Is Strength Concert Tour 2020
Africa-USA Unity Events planned a nation-wide tour for April, May 2020 unfortunately duet the break out of COVID-19 Pandemic, the tour was cancelled. We helped our artists to be compensatated for missing out on the concert. Cities to be toured: Washington DC, New York, Philadelphia, Barrington NJ.

Heroes of Unity In Music and Arts: May 6, 2020
Event was planned in partnership with the Abyssinian Baptist Church in Harlem New York to honor heroes who unite global African in Music and Arts, honorees were Rev. Itang Young (Youth Minister at the Abyssinian Church in NY), Zanele Mbokazi for creating SABC Crown Gospel Awards, Voza Rivers a stalwart in Arts and for his role in creation of the Lion King way show and for promoting African artists in America, Dr. Zienzille Dillon of African Union, for her role in Door to Africa, with a goal to unite Africans and African Americans.
Africa USA Unity Events Joint Venture Claremont Choir Foundation, Dumi Mkokstad, Ethekwini Parks and Recreation for Charting COVID-19 Relief Efforts April – May 2020
Due to the global pandemic outbreak in 2020 live events were cancelled, lockdowns ensued, and Africa USA Unity Events responded by also helping relief efforts. Africa USA unitey Events collaborated with Clermont Choir Foundation’s efforts in delivering food parcels to firstly to their immediate members and those in the community who need it most as they were affected by COVID-19 outbreak and ensuing lockdowns.
Africa-USA Unity Events helped to mobilize funds from the United States communities, churches, foundations and worked with Clermont Choir Foundation as partners in helping to distribute food parcels, masks, gloves, soaps, and other needed items. The initiative helped 50 families from needy and developing artists to benefit from this initiative.
EThekwini Municipality’s Parks and Recreation endorsed the initiative and became the strategic partner as the custodian of the development of performing arts through Parks and recreation unit. Mr. Dumi Mkokstad also endorsed the initiative and helped to distribute food parcels to the community.
Africa USA Unity Virtual Live Stream Concert Series: June – August 2020
Due to the pandemic, in 2020 all Africa-USA Unity Events were virtual on our Facebook and Youtube pages. We launched a highly successful Live Stream Concerts Series garnered 100,000 viewers worldwide and global audiences got to listen and watch African Gospel Music on display.
